The background of this study is the low science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 013 Sungai Tarap, Kecamatan Kampa, Kabupaten Kampar. This study aims to improve the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in SD Negeri 013 Sungai Tarap, Kecamatan Kampa, Kabupaten Kampar by using the demonstration method. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were class V students, totaling 22 students. This study consisted of two cycles and four meetings. The procedures for carrying out this research are planning, action, observation, assessment, and reflection. The results of the study show that the demonstration method can improve students' science learning outcomes. This can be seen from the acquisition of the average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 72.61% and the percentage of students completed 59.09%. In the second cycle increased with an average value of 84.93% and the percentage of students completed 86.36%. The results showed that the students' learning outcomes of science increased in each cycle after the demonstration method was applied.
