Abstract

This study aims to develop and test an ADDIE-based AI learning model using Perplexity.ai and Designs.ai to enhance critical thinking skills in entrepreneurship among 52 Grade XI vocational students (26 experimental, 26 control) at SMK Negeri 1 Jember. A quasi-experimental design with an independent t-test analysis (t = 11.03, p < 0.05) reveals significant improvement in business plan scores (experimental M=87.12 vs. control M=70.58). Findings indicate enhanced student engagement (87% reported AI learning as enjoyable) and skills in opportunity analysis and risk prediction. This model offers practical implications for digital pedagogy in Indonesian vocational education.
