THE EFFECT OF HANDPHONE USERS ON LEARNING MOTIVATION OF V-GRADE STUDENTS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Abstract


The research method that the author uses in this study is descriptive analytical method with the aim of analyzing sample data and the results are applied to the population. The population in this study were all students of class V B semester II (Even) at SD Negeri 096136 Sukarakyat II, Pematang Bandar District for the 2020/2021 academic year, totaling 25 people. To determine the students' initial ability, the research conducted a Pre Test with an average of 124.24. It can be said that the initial ability is sufficient. The results of the Post Test have an increase from the results of the Pre Test given previously. The results of the Post Test that have been tested are 120.08, it can be said that the success rate of critical thinking skills is increasing. The results of the correlation coefficient prove that there is an influence of cellphone users (X) on students' learning motivation (Y) with results tcount > ttable with results 0.412 > 0.389. In testing the hypothesis using the t-test of the data calculations performed, the test results are fcount > ftable the results are 4,542 > 4.24 with a significant level (α = 0.05). Based on the results of the data obtained from research at SD Negeri 096136 Sukarakyat II, Pematang Bandar District.
