THE INFLUENCE OF CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS ON STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES ON THE THEME OF THE ENVIRONMENT OF OUR FRIENDS IN CLASS V SD

Abstract


This research is a type of experimental research aimed at finding out the influence of critical thinking ability on students' learning outcomes. the population in this study is the entire class V of SD Negeri 11 Lubuk Cuik subdistrict Fifty Years of Learning 2020/2021 which amounts to 30 students. The instrument used to collect data is a matter of multiple choice and questionnaire. hypothesis testing is done using the "t" test. To find out the students' initial abilities, research conducting Pre Test with an average score of 58.2 can be said to be less. The results of the Post Test have improved from the pre test results given earlier. Post Test results that have been tested By 84.1 can be said to increase the success rate of student learning outcomes. The results of the correlation coefficient prove that there is an influence of Critical Thinking Ability (X) on student learning outcomes (Y) with rhitung results > apostates with a result of 0.837 > 0.361. In the hypothesis test using t-test from the calculation of data conducted, the test results are thitung > ttabel results of 8,095 > 1,701 with a significant level (α = 0.05). Based on the results of data obtained from research at SD Negeri 11 Lubuk Cuik, it can be said that critical thinking skills are very effective in learning to improve students' learning outcomes.
