DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING VIDEOS USING ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS ON NEWTON’S LAW OF GRAVITY FOR CLASS X HIGH SCHOOL

Abstract


Learning physics is seen as a process to develop the ability of concepts, principles and laws of physics so that the learning process must consider an active and efficient learning strategy or method. Physics material is abstract so it is difficult to visualize. In addition, the availability of physics learning media is still very minimal. The learning media that can be developed is video learning. This study aims to develop learning media in the form of learning videos using Adobe After Effects on Newton's Law of Gravity material for class X SMA. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using a modified ADDIE model consisting of only 3 stages, namely the analysis, design, and development stages. The types of data to be obtained in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative data in the form of validity values from learning videos, and qualitative data obtained from criticism and suggestions from validators. The data collection instrument used was in the form of a learning video validation sheet. The data were analyzed descriptively to determine the validity of the learning video using the Aiken's V formula. The results showed that the validity index value of Aiken's V video meeting 1 was 0.911, the validity index value of Aiken's V video meeting 2 was 0.909, and the validity index value of Aiken's V video meeting 3 was 0.914. So it can be concluded that the learning video using Adobe After Effects on Newton's Law of Gravity material for class X SMA is declared valid based on the design aspect, pedagogical aspect, content aspect, and technical aspect.
