Abstract

This research is a classroom action research which is based on the low learning result of mathematics and Civics. Of the 17 students only 9 students who achieve the minimum completeness criteria set by the school that is 60. This study was conducted in class V of SDN 014 Pulau Sipan Hilir Kecamatan Inuman, with the number of students 17 students. This research was conducted two cycles with four stages, namely: perencanaa, pelaksaan, observation, and reflection. The result of the research stated that through the implementation of the method of group discussion of the students' mathematics learning outcomes, the number of completed students was 11 students (64.70%) and in cycle II the total number of students was 14 students (82.35%).
