Abstract

This research is based on the learning outcomes of Civic Education of V students of State Elementary School 028 Kubang Jaya, which is still very low. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of students' Civic Education. The method of research is classroom action research, with the stages of research being the stage of planning, action stage, observation stage, and reflection phase. From the data analysis, there was a good improvement of teacher activity, student activity, and student learning result. That is, in cycle I, teacher activity is "enough," with a percentage of 65.63%, and cycle II increased to 89.06%, classified as "good." Percentage of student activity in cycle I is 70.14% or classified as "enough," and cycle II increased to 86.81% or classified as "good." Increased activity of teachers and students is very influential on student learning outcomes. Before the action, students' completeness only reached 10 people (55.56%) complete, and 8 students (44.44%) not yet finished. After the first cycle, students' learning completion increased to 13 students (72.22%), and 5 students (27.78%) were not completed. In cycle II, mastery of students has exceeded 75%, with completeness of 88.89% or about 16 students who achieved the minimum predefined criteria, which is 65. Thus, the strategy of each one teach one can improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Civic Education for class V at Elementary School 028 Kubang Jaya.
