PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TAKE AND GIVE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS III SDN 192 PEKANBARU

The purpose of this study was to improve social studies learning outcomes of third-grade students of SDN 192 Pekanbaru by applying the take and give the type of cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The results of the study revealed that the score of teacher activity at the first meeting of the cycle I was 15 with a percentage of 62.59% (Enough), then increased by a score of 22 with a percentage of 91.67% (Very good) at the second meeting of cycle III. In addition, student activity also increased, at the first meeting of the cycle I with a score of 16 with a percentage of 66.67% (Enough), increasing with a score of 23 with a percentage of 95.83% (Very good) in the second meeting of cycle III. Furthermore, student learning outcomes increased from the basic score to the first cycle of 7.72% with the average student score being 72.32. In the second cycle, it increased 13.56% to 76.25. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that by applying the cooperative learning model type Take and Give can improve the learning outcomes of social studies in third-grade students of SDN 192 Pekanbaru
