Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of naturalist intelligence with a caring attitude towards the fourth grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri Gugus Harapan Kecamatan Salo Kabupaten Kampar. This type of research is a correlation with quantitative methods. Naturalist intelligence is intelligence that is very important to have in the present. This is needed because at this time in the whole world nature is attacked by development, technology and economy, which is caused by humans, so it is very necessary for people who have naturalist intelligence to devote themselves voluntarily to caring for and protecting the earth. This study uses an instrument in the form of a questionnaire to obtain data on naturalist intelligence and environmental care. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between naturalist intelligence and the environmental care attitude of the Sekolah Dasar Negeri Gugus Harapan Kecamatan Salo Kabupaten Kampar. It can be seen that the value of r is 0.512 with a moderate level of relationship and naturalist intelligence influences the attitude of caring for the environment by 26.3%.
